Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test (BHU-PET) is a University level online entrance examination conducted once a year usually in the month of April/May before the start of academic year.The BHU MCA Entrance test is conducted by Banaras Hindu University(BHU),Varanasi for which the notification is generally published in the month of January/February.

BHU-MCA(PET) Exam Pattern:-

The BHU-PET Exam is conducted in Computer Based Test(CBT) mode only.It contains 120 multiple-choice questions(MCQ's) carrying 360 marks to be answered in 120 minutes(2 hours).The PET consists questions of Mathematical Aptitude(about 80 questions), and Analytical and Logical Reasoning(about 40 questions).Each correctly answered question carries 3 marks while 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.The candidates are selected in the order of merit on the basis of aggregate marks in the Entrance test.The selected candidates are offered admission after completion of counselling in three steps.
